He was predeceased by: his brother David Whetsel. He is survived by: his parents, William A. Whetsel and Bertha K. Whetsel (Rumshock) of Milford, PA; his wife Dympna "Dee" Whetsel; his sons, Tyler L. Whetsel (Savannah) of Manhattan, NY and Liam R. Whetsel of Highland Mills, NY; his sister-in-law Amy Whetsel; his niece Katelyn Whetsel; and his siblings-in-law, Brendan McMorrow, Ann McMorrow, Colette Mulhall, Mark Kwalwasser, Deirdre McMorrow, Jimmy Towle and Ursula Towle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
