He was predeceased by: his parents, John Berkise and Mary Howell Berkise; his sister Judith Smith; and his niece Rebecca Smith. He is survived by: his wife Susan Engel; his sister Ann Anderika of New Haven, CT; and his nieces, Rachel Anderika of Guilford, CT and Megan McKelvey. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (34 S Chestnut St, New Paltz, NY 12561).
