She was predeceased by: her husband Will Files; her parents, Jasper Ward "JW" and Wilma Freeland Thompson; and her siblings, Stan Thompson, Jerry Thompson and Mary Thompson Eidem.
She is survived by: her children, Stan Anderson, Ruth Brown (Bradley) and Freya Anderson; her granddaughters, Sarah Liu (Charles) and Kristen Monro (Josh); her great grandchild Lydia Liu; her stepsons, Will Files III (Annie) and Kirby Files (Amory); and her friend Kathy Schilling. She is also survived by 3 step grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, beloved friends and honorary family members.
