He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Wagner of New Paltz; his children, Richard E. Matice, Debra Carney of Panama City, FL, Julia Mattick (Robert) of Geneva, NY, Gerald Barrett (Pam) of Saint George, KS, Jeness Raffa (Richard) of New Paltz, NY and Danielle Matice of Highland, NY.; his grandchildren, Megan, Matthew (Leanne), Aubrey, Max (Tori), Jacqueline (Joseph), Lindsey, Vannessa (Dustin), Josh (Meghan), Sebastian, Samantha (Ozzy), Kimberly (Christopher), Michaela, Hunter, Kasey and Isabelle; his siblings, Shirley Hill, Linda Crewell (Manny) and Milton Matice (Karen); and his siblings-in-law, Susan Matice and Ted Hayes. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations in Richard's name be made to Gardiner Reformed Church or the Wounded Warrior Project.
