He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Fernandez and Ascension "Sunny" Fernandez (Rodriguez). He is survived by: his girlfriend Rose Terwilliger; his children, Lisa Fernandez Caico (Ernst Leschke) of Forest Hill, MD and Richard Mark Fernandez of Lake Tahoe, CA; his stepdaughters, Michelle Hathaway (Martin) of Gardiner, NY and Dana O'Neill of New Paltz, NY; his grandchildren, Alessandra Caico, Stephen Caico, Isabella Caico, Evan Hathaway, Alden Hathaway, Terry Terwilliger and Alexandra O'Neill; his brothers, Robert Fernandez (Jane) and Raymond Fernandez (Elizabeth); and his former wife Gloria McSweeney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless other loving family members.
