In the vast expanse of eternity, Vivian shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Vivian farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sutton and Willie Jane Sutton; her husband Fred Pierce; and her siblings, Virgie Jeter (Charles), Kneronios Sutton, Hiwatha Sutton, Velma Sutton and Frederick Sutton.
She is survived by: her nephews, Kenneth Jeter (Ernestine) of Norfolk, VA, Charles Jeter (Rhonda) of Middletown, NY and Michael Jeter (Tracy) of Ellenville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Ministries Baptist Church (5 Market St, Ellenville, NY 12428). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Fantinekill Cemetery (8068 US-209, Napanoch, NY 12428).
