He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. McCarthy and Helen L. McCarthy (Herring); and his siblings, Lorie Gardner, Michael McCarthy, Bridget Corder and Butch.
He is survived by: his sons, Andrew Mack (Gisella Correa) and Joseph Sands; his sisters, Molly McCarthy (Tina Paternostro) and Katy Kowalczyk (Gary); and his pet Callie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and so many friends.
