He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Melich and Bernice Melich; and his stepson Neil Yates Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Melich; his stepdaughter Michelle Rooksby (Michael); his grandchildren, Michael Rooksby Jr. (Carolina), Madison Rooksby and Montana Rooksby; and his brothers, Kevin Melich (Loraine) and Michael Melich. He is also survived by his three nephews.
He was also a proud member of the Buddha Foundation of America, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting children and families in need throughout the Rochester community.
