She was predeceased by: her parents, David E. Ward and Lulu M. Ward (Simmons); and her siblings, Dolores E. Ward and Dale E. Ward. She is survived by: her husband Ben Vedder of Himrod; her children, Rose Marie Hill Sr. (Carl) of Manhattan, KS, Ron Vedder (Susanne) of Rock Stream, NY and Carmela Sue Salamendra (Joe) of Dundee, NY; her grandchildren, Regina Dawson (Nick), Carl Hill Jr., Katrina Hull (Luke), Kristina Gilmore, Steven Vedder (Olivia Mason), Thomas B. Vedder and Cody J. Salamendra; and her son Lynnford Hoover. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren she adored, several nieces and nephews; a dear friend.
In lieu of flowers, her wish would be for memorial contributions be made to your local Humane Society, your local volunteer fire department ladies auxiliary, or the Himrod Conservation Club, 770 Rice Hill Rd., Himrod, NY 14842.
