It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadette Montgomery of Holland, New York, who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James; her grandson James Robert Montgomery; and her parents, Charles Reisdorf and Mary Reisdorf (Schiller). She is survived by: her children, Audrey Jarrel (Brian), Kevin Montgomery (Donna) and Mark Montgomery (Mary); her grandchildren, Christopher Browning, Eric Jarrell (Erin Ryan), Meghan Kiliszek (Andy), Collette, Matthew, Jocelyn, Benjamin, Samuel, Logan, Harper and Madison; and her siblings, Sharon Perl (Peter), Carol Kruse (Harry), Duane Reisdorf (Mary), Eileen Reisdorf, Ruth Schumacher (late Edwin), Viola George (late Norman), Mary Rita Almeter, Edna Meyer, Eleanor George, Martha Erhardt, Teresa Meyer, Regina Reisdorf and David Reisdorf (Lois). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family encourages donations be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind and Alzheimer's Association, WNY. The family has chosen to send donations to Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter.
