He was predeceased by : his wife Thelma; and his mother Mabel. He is survived by : his children, Chuck Weader (Christine) and Kelly Marling (Kenny); his siblings, Richard Weader and Karen Collins (William); his grandchildren, Joshua Marling (Emily), Jamie Marling (Matt Gilbert), Shannon Weader, Renée Weader and Julia Weader; and his great grandchildren, Payton, Harper, Max, Mackenzie and Ava.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gary's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
