He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Kraatz and Doris Kraatz (Duchow); and his brother Clay Kraatz. He is survived by: his wife Janine; his daughters, Taramarie Kraatz, Katie Kraatz-Fox (Kyle) and Felicia Kraatz-Lemcke (Kyle); his grandchildren, Brielle and Brayden; his sister Melane Shuttleworth (John); and his brother-in-law James Gunn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

“In loving memory of Larry A. Kraatz, May your heart and soul find peace and comfort. May I add that Larry and I also had a common connection, as we had several conversations about the cottage in Cape Vincent. We would share some insights about that area because my wife and two daughters frequently camped at Long Point State Park and would catch a meal, visit the French festival, or spend too much money at the general store. GE was also talked about, I grew up in B-port,living across the canal.”
