With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Estrellita R. Bugay of Hollis, New York, who passed away on August 3, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Eddie; and her close friend Geraldine. She is survived by: her husband Leonito; her daughters, Helga, Michelle and Allison; her grandchildren, Leo, Ava, Ella and Zoe; and her siblings, Ofelia, Dario, Henry and Bayani.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to one of the organizations listed below that are dedicated to advancing research on LATE (Limbic-predominant Age-related TDP-43 Encephalopathy).
