He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Merry and Winifred Merry-Babcock; and his sister Patsy Doenges. He is survived by: his wife Susan A. Boynton Merry; his daughters, Kerri McKee of Manlius, Krista Kline (Josh) of Middletown, IN and Brenna Snyder (Clay) of Purcellville, VA; his grandchildren, Jack, Max McKee, Alice, Selah Kline, Avery and Reagan Snyder; and his brother William Merry (Fran) of Wellsville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home (5016 US-11, Homer, NY 13077). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
