She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Jackson and Jane Christopher. She is survived by: her husband Terry R. Goddard; her sons, Marc J. of Homer, Derek M. (Autumn) of Saratoga Springs and Brian R. Goddard of Homer; her grandchildren, Baylie (Katie), Noah (Maddie), Mya, Braydon, Jace and Cooper Goddard; her great grandchildren, Vivian and Parker; and her siblings, William Prindle (Pamela), Marion Prindle, Lori Space and Rosemary Green (Scott). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Rita's name be directed to the American Lung Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
