He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Bushnell and Bernice Bushnell (Henry); his wife Judith Bushnell; his siblings, Agnes Metcalf, Ardelia Kowalski, Arthur and Richard Bushnell; and his siblings-in-law, Burt Buck, David Bentz, Dutch Metcalf, Steve Robbins, Leon Rounds Sr., Patricia, Charlene Bushnell and Veris Bentz.

He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Bushnell (Tara Wilhoit) and Kelly Randolph (Rick); his grandchildren, Douglas Bushnell (Katie), Randall Bushnell (Jordan) and Niomi Randolph; his great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Hudson, Alex, Gabe, Lane and Chase; his siblings, Jesse Bushnell (Sharon), Ronald "Pete" Bushnell, Anna Mae Buck, Katie Robbins, Stanley "Marty" Bushnell and Debbie Rangcapan; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Bentz, Ed Kowalski, Denise and Sylvia Bushnell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
