She was predeceased by: her parents, Rayfield Merihew and Zona Hubbard Merihew; her husband Thomas E. Monroe, Sr.; and her siblings, Richard Merihew and Dawn Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne M. Day (Donel) and Thomas E. Monroe, Jr. (Maureen); her stepson Rick Monroe; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Randall (Dustin), Deirdre Monroe (Tom Chappell), Deanna Day (Trystan Dewey), Scott Day (Madison Roberts), Martin Monroe (Grace Call), Natalie Day (Zander Johnson) and Lane Day; her great grandchildren, Sophia, Jacob Randall and Dawson Dewey; her sisters, Kay Waddy, Jean Kalilec and Joan Phillips (Paul); and her brothers-in-law, Jack Monroe (Susie), Fred Monroe and Roger Monroe. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
