He was predeceased by: his father Domenic. He is survived by: his mother Pauline; his wife JoAnne; his sons, Austin (Danielle), Maxwell, Spencer and Colton; his stepchildren, Madelyn and Michael; his sisters, Annette (Sean) and Donna; and his nieces, Alexa, Olivia and Sophia.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. (59 Monroe St, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Westminster Hall and Chapel (3886 Rush Mendon Rd, Mendon, NY 14506). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lou's honor may be made to Wilmot Cancer Center or the University of Rochester Medicine Home Care.
