With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edmund Hayden (Hoosick Falls, New York), who passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Hayden (Kennedy); his parents, John Joseph Hayden and Eleanor Hayden (Wade); his siblings, Eleanore "Sis" Hayden, John "Joseph" Hayden, William "Wade" Hayden and Robert Hayden; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Hayden (Joe) and Katherine Hayden (Rob).
He is survived by: his children, Robert Kennedy (Eric) of Tempe, Arizona and Dawn Schmitz (Jason) of Bealeton, Virginia; his grandchildren, Emma Kennedy-Demoss (Aaron) of Columbus, Brendon Schmitz, Kaelin Schmitz and Colton Schmitz of Bealeton, Virginia; his brother Richard Hayden (Pamela Waters) of Connecticut; his sister-in-law Sandy Hayden (Curtis) of Cambridge; his friends, Mike Allard, Bill and Kathy Yurewitch; his nephew John Hayden; his niece Bridget Bromirski; Jim and Bonnie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Memorial contributions in Edmund's memory may be made to the Town of Hoosick Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
