We bid farewell to Marion Sheldon of Hoosick Falls, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 9, 2025 at the age of 97. Marion touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Lourie and Mary Lourie (Wilson); her son Jay Sheldon; and her brothers, William, Stanley, Wilson and Thomas Lourie.
She is survived by: her husband Harold J. Sheldon; her daughters, Sandra Hyde (Arthur) of Hoosick Falls and Lori Wagner (Timothy) of Hoosick Falls; her grandchildren, Jackie Houran, William Hyde (Melissa), Jeffrey Hyde, Leah Bush, Travis Wagner (Danielle) and Ross Wagner (Jennifer); her great grandchildren, Noah, Ben Houran, Cooper, Tucker Hyde, Karsen, Weston, Easton and Everett Wagner; and her close friend Colleen Post of Cambridge. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McClellan-Gariepy Funeral Home (19 E Broadway, Salem, NY 12865).
