She was predeceased by: her parents, James Simmons and Alice Simmons; her sister Beatrice Shiland; her niece Karen Tatro; and her close friend Gail McGuire.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Herring (Micheal); her granddaughter Casey Stroffoleno (Derick Pike); her great grandchildren, Quinn Lane, Chase Lane, Gardner Pike and Casper Pike; her great-nephew Joshua Tatro (Julia); and her great-niece Meghan Wade (Wes).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions/donations be made to Kelly's Angels, Marylou's favorite charitable organization, founded in honor of one of her beloved patients.
