David W. Cornell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David W. Cornell of Hoosick, New York, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Cornell; and his parents, Ira Cornell and Agnes Cornell (Baker). He is survived by: his children, Joyce Silvestro (Anthony) of West Hoosick, Carol Cornell-Smith of Townsend, MA, Wayne Cornell (Amy) of West Hoosick and Susan Jakubowski (Brian) of Raleigh, NC; his brother Allen Cornell (Edna) of West Hoosick; his nephew Dale Cornell (Samantha) of West Hoosick; and his grandchildren, Everett, Madelyn Smith, Tyler, Jeffrey Brewer, Michael, Sadie Cornell, Hayden and Andrew Jakubowski.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (80 Main St, Hoosick Falls, NY 12090).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in David's memory to the First Baptist Church through the funeral home.
