Carl Abrams Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carl Abrams of Hopewell Junction, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Abrams and Frances Abrams (Schiffman); and his sons, Mark Abrams and Philip Abrams. He is survived by: his spouse Hideltrudis "Trudy" Canadilla; his children, Lynn (Chris Beal), Scott (Tracie Abrams), Jerry Abrams and Jeffrey Abrams; his grandchildren, Marcus, Amanda, Carly, Chris, Matt, Dan, Katie and Scotty; and his sister Lenore Miller.

Memorial donations may be made to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, supporting spinal cord injury research and care.
