With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David A. Pountain (Hopewell Junction, New York), born in Honolulu, Hawaii, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2024 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Philip R. Pountain. He is survived by: his mother Catherine Pountain (Donohue); his wife Laurene Pountain (Cook); his son Aidan; his father-in-law Mark; his sister Pamela Bordas (Chuck); his son Calvin of Ballston Spa; his sister Sandra Lemery (Brian); his children, Brandon and Mia of Queensbury; his parents-in-law, James and Lorna Cook; and his brother-in-law James Cook IV.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Dave's memory to Sparrow's Nest, an organization that provided tremendous community and support during the past year.
