It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James M. McCann (Hopewell Junction, New York), who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCann and Regina McCann (Slattery); and his brother Monsignor John McCann. He is survived by: his children, Christopher McCann of Wappingers Falls, Kathleen McCann of Wappingers Falls, Dennis McCann (Heather) of Clarendon Hills, IL, Timothy McCann (Megan) of Briarcliff Manor, NY and Michael McCann (Gina) of Poughkeepsie, NY.; his grandchildren, Brigid, Dennis, Molly, Martin, Megan, Audrey, Colin, Aidan and Loch; and his sister Patricia Hoey (Michael) of Dagsboro, DE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
