He was predeceased by: his parents, William Murphy and Grace Wood Murphy; and his siblings, William Murphy and Grace Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Wayne Murphy of Catskill, Kevin Murphy of Woodstock and Colleen Incorvaia (Sal) of Highland; his siblings, Sharon McCarthy (Keith) of Putnam Valley and Brian Murphy (Debbie) of Chappaqua; and his granddaughters, Hailey and Marissa.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests charitable donations, in James' name, to the American Truck Historical Society at aths.org, or the American Heart Association at heart.org.
