We are sad to announce that, on February 9, 2026, at the age of 80, Per B. Jensen of Hopewell Junction, New York, born in Denmark, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Per departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Per. Though Per may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Johanne Jensen; his brother Thorkild Jensen; his children, Michael Jensen, Vivian and Heidi Jensen; and his grandchildren, Layla, Rhianna, Dekker, Trevor, Sawyer and Samantha Jensen.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Fishkill Historical Society, take a long drive on a sunny day with your favorite music, and/or enjoy a cake with your loved ones.
