With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven Whitney (Hopewell Junction, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Whitney and Kathryn Whitney (Conn); and his sister Christine Celmer. He is survived by: his siblings, Cheryl Englert (Fred) and Douglas Whitney; his brother-in-law Bob Celmer; his siblings' children, Daniel, Holly Englert, Matthew Englert, Amy Celmer and David Celmer; Griffin.

Donations may be made in memory of Steven to Hudson Valley Hospice House.
