Viola I. Lucato Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2025, at the age of 86, Viola I. Lucato (Hopewell Junction, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Iori and Edna Iori (Lewis); and her husband Louis A. Lucato, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Louis Lucato, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC, Gary Lucato of Highland and Kristine Thomas (Jason) of Pleasant Valley; her grandchildren, Nick, Marissa, Cassandra, Shelby, Julia, Anthony, Emily, Delaney and Lola; her great grandchild Sofia; and her brother William Iori (Barbara). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. ~ Van Wyck Room (895 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Falls Church (11 Clinton St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (11 Clinton St, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Viola to Hudson Valley Hospice, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, or a local pet rescue.
