He was predeceased by: his parents, Gifford Egle and Rose Egle (Lynch); his wife Arlene; and his brother Dennis Egle. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Egle (Machelle) of Loveland, CO and Thomas Egle (Kim) of Hornell; his siblings, Tony Egle (Ellie) of Kirkville, NY, Susan Murphy (Mike) of East Syracuse, Joyce Taggart (Bob) of Canastota, NY and Mary O'Neil (Tom) of Watertown, NY; his grandchildren, Josh Egle, Abby Beam (Miles), Mercedes Erskine and Zacharie Erskine; and his great grandchild Gabrielle Erskine. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Don's family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name be made to Fremont Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 462, Arkport, NY 14807, Funeral arrangements are in care of the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY.
