He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Mauro and Angela Mauro (Parrillo); his wife Marguerite O'Connor; his son David Mauro; his brothers, Carl Mauro (Jean) and Salvatore "Tootie" Mauro (Irene); his sister-in-law Anne Mauro; and his nephew Ron Mauro.
He is survived by: his children, Francis "Buzz" Mauro (Steve Daigler) of Annapolis, MD, Lynn Lincoln (Andy) of Cohocton, NY, Kathleen Rohan (Kevin) of Horseheads, NY and Antoinette "Toni" Wizeman (Fred) of North Hornell; his brother Joseph Mauro of Hornell; and his grandchildren, Nick Lincoln (Leah), Zack Lincoln (Stacey), Melissa Graham (Doug), Sam Lincoln (Shelby), Alex Lincoln, Cooper Rohan (Josh), Hannah Rohan, Billy Rohan, Carmen Nasca, Dominic Nasca and Mia Nasca. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (35 Erie Ave, Hornell, NY 14843).
Memorial contributions in Buzz's name may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
