Francis D. Schwartz Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis D. Schwartz (Hornell, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Francis leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schwartz and Lena Patrick Schwartz; his son William Schwartz; and his brothers, Robert and Fred Schwartz.

He is survived by: his sons, Donald Schwartz (Dee) of Colorado and James Schwartz (Patricia) of Hornell. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
