With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph C. DiCosimo of Hornell, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Augusto DiCosimo and Mary DiCosimo (Catania); his siblings, Augie DiCosimo (Darlene), Tony DiCosimo (Gert), Nuncio "Bute" DiCosimo (Mary), Jenny Zarvis (George), Margaret Stevens (Art) and Marion Capo (Frank); his father-in-law Antonio (Carmella Colomaio); and his siblings-in-law, Maggie, Tony Montemarano, Harold Robbins, Peter, Betty Colomaio, Matt, Mary Colomaio and Ezio Fiacco.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie DiCosimo (Colomaio); his son Joseph DiCosimo (Elizabeth); his granddaughter Adriana; his sisters-in-law, Helen Robbins and Mary Fiacco; and his nephew Johnny.
Muzzy's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
