It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen C. Sexton (Hornell, New York), who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Conkey and Ruth Conkey (Norton); her husband Thomas Sexton; her son Joseph Sexton; and her siblings, Vivian Congdon, Phyllis Donahue, Jean Sackett, Helen Remchuk, Christine Gensler and Michael Conkey.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Lecceardone (Jim) of Hornell and James "Jim" Sexton (Teresa) of Conway, SC; her sister Lois Jimerson of Hornell; and her grandchildren, Patrick Cullen, Raymond Lecceardone, Danielle Sexton, Joseph Sexton, James Sexton (Emily Shephard), Brianne Aumick (Zach) and Courtney Nobiling (Toby). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
Kathy's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to the Hornell Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY 14843.
