With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret L. Di Dio of Hornell, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giacomo "Jimmy" Messina and Helena Messina (Solo); her granddaughter Autumn Di Dio; her great grandchild Sawyer Karns-McManus; her siblings, Pauline Messina, Mary Riker (William), Theresa Van Volkenburg (Charles) and Anthony "Tony" Messina (Loretta); and her friends, Leona Dessena and Edna Tuite (Fiacco).
She is survived by: her husband Andy; her former spouse Church; her children, Mary Ann Di Dio (Thomas M. Flansburg) of Cohocton, Joseph A. Di Dio (Monica) of Stafford, VA, James G. Di Dio (Cindy) of Bedford, TX, John P. Di Dio (Annette Freeland) of Hornell and Elizabeth A. "Beth" Turner (Steven) of Rochester, NY; her grandchildren, Nicholas Karns-McManus (Nyki), Grady McManus, Cailey Taylor (Vincent), Ashleigh Wintersteen (Eric), Alexander Di Dio (Lauren), Amelia Adams (Matthew), Addison Di Dio (Emily), Alden Di Dio, Nina Pryor (Shane), Andy Di Dio (Andrea), Jason Di Dio, Candice Thornberg (James), Connor Di Dio, Briana Norman (Brendan), Carson, Trevor, Paul Di Dio and Kelsey Guida (Vinny); and her brother Joseph Messina of Boston, MA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
