We announce the death of Phyllis E. Odell (Hornell, New York), who passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 91. Phyllis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Griffin and Eleanor Griffin (Nesbit); her son Michael Odell; her granddaughter Carrie Odell; her great grandchild Christopher Odell; and her brother Robert Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Odell, Jr. (Lisa) of Canaseraga, NY, Douglas Odell of Hornell, Suzanne Sick (Ray) of Wayland, NY and Stephany Dungan of Hornell; her grandchildren, John Odell, Scott Odell (Bobbi Jo Freeman), Brooke Milligan (Craig), Brittany Odell, Anne Marie West (Luke), Jakob Odell, Matthew Dungan, Haylee Dungan, Edward Odell, Kathleen Barnhart (William), Rachel O'Connor (Tim) and Renee Sick; and her brother Kenneth Griffin (Peggy) of Cape Carteret, NC. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
