Sandra Lawrence Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2023, at the age of 81, Sandra Lawrence of Hornell, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Arnold Lawrence and Kathryn Lawrence (Kimbel); and her siblings, Phyllis Hoyt, Madelyn "Madge" Lang, Herman "Don" Lawrence and Shelton "Punky" Lawrence.

She is survived by : her great-niece Tracie McCarthy of Arkport; and her friends, Lynn Blades and Penny Bennet. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Sandy's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to the Hornell Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY 14843.

“I just learned of Sandy's passing.. I was just a kid when she lived in Hamburg, PA and she was my riding instructor. I learned so many life lessons from her, some of which make me think of her often. I got to visit her in NY one time after she moved. A trip that I remember fondly. She will always hold a place in my heart and I credit her for some of the best times of my childhood. My sympathy goes out to her family.”
