He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sharrett and Violet Bell Sharrett; his brother John Sharrett; and his stepchildren, Stacia Marlatt and Joseph Lecceardone.
He is survived by: his wife Cherrie Mullikin Sharrett; his sons, Shane Sharrett (Cassi) of Andover and Christopher Sharrett of Alfred Station; his brother Thomas Sharrett (Linda) of North Hornell; and his grandchildren, Aliyah, Ayden and Ashtyn Sharrett.
