He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burch and Ruby Dickerson Burch; his former wife Bonnie Burch; his wife Diane Burch; his son Kevin Burch; and his sisters, Marjorie Woodkirk and Bonnie Goodsell.

He is survived by: his children, Teresa Gardner of Canisteo and Gregory Burch of Lakeland. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
