He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McNelis and Catherine McNelis (Quackenbush); his siblings, Robert McNelis (Sue), John McNelis and Mary McKinley (Tom); and his grandson John David McNelis.
He is survived by: his fiancée Nancy Stevens-Loper; his children, John McNelis (Beth) of Penn Yan and Kathy Flint (Joe) of North Hornell; his siblings, Dave McNelis (Mary) of Elmira, Jim McNelis (Marianne) of Loon Lake, Bridget McBride (David) of Addison and Ellen Eckstein (Mike) of Addison; his sister-in-law Cheryl McNelis of Hornell; his grandchildren, Mackenzie McNelis (Scott Betts), Kelsie Wick (Michael), Will McNelis, Alex Flint (Liset), Spencer Flint (Victoria) and Elliott Flint (Lauran); and his great grandchildren, Rafaela Flint and Vera Flint. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews whom he loved; many loving brothers- and sisters-in-law.
