He is survived by: his wife Joann Townsend (Semski); his children, Susan Borden (William), Sherry Lombardo (Mark), John Dunbar (Carol), Christie Anderson and Melisia Reilly (Richard); his son-in-law Dan Ormsby; his brother Chauncey Townsend (Kathy); his sisters-in-law, Diann Murphy (Mark), Susan Kelly and Carolann Dreisbach (David); and his grandchildren, Dawn Edwards (Ben), Jeff Ormsby (Autumn), Matt Ormsby (Heather), Tiffany Joseph (Nick), Brandisue Perry (Doug), Justin Townsend (Faith), Katrina Woodward (Mitch), John Michael Wood, Carrie Dunbar, Steven Shaffer, Zackary Shaffer, Erica Westervelt (Joseph), Courtney Flahive (Paul), Kaylee Reilly and Julia Reilly. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
