He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Swartz and Doris Swartz; his sister Marilyn Swartz Horton; and his wife Bonnie Isaacs Swartz. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Aldrich (Dale), Greg Swartz (Sharon) and Jeff Swartz (Katherin); his grandchildren, Brandon Swartz (Karli), Justin McCarthy (Rachel), Casey Swartz (Danielle) and Brooke Rue (Austin); his great grandchildren, Dawson and Everly; and his close friend Suze Wallen. He is also survived by many extended family members, lifelong friends, former co-workers, and neighbors.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ron's name to a local youth organization such as Horseheads Babe Ruth, Horseheads Cinderella Softball, the Horseheads Kiwanis Club, or another charity that reflects Ron's lifelong commitment to serving his community.
