He was predeceased by: his parents, Llewyn Jackson and Ida Jackson; and his siblings, Theresa Stevens and Christopher Monks. He is survived by: his wife Deborah L. Monks; his siblings, Tina Monks, Troy Monks (Terri) and Tracy Monks; his mother-in-law Janet Switzer; and his brother-in-law Franklin Switzer (Pam). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and a host of friends.
