With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paula L Guthertz of Howard Beach, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Paula departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Paula. Though Paula may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Geller and Jeanette Geller. She is survived by: her children, Allison Melahouris (Nick) and Adam Guthertz (Alice); her grandchildren, Emma Guthertz, Peter Guthertz and Nicholas Melahouris; Kody.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a donation be made to the charity of your choice or, in Paula's memory, to support the Oncology Department through the Jamaica Hospital Foundation, in gratitude for the care that was made possible there.
