He was predeceased by: his father Laurent (Larry); Joan Smatko. He is survived by: his wife Debra Williams; his children, Joseph L Bernard, Jr. (Amanda) and Jennifer Bernard; his grandchildren, Arya Bernard, Annabelle Bernard and Ronan; his nieces, Cynthia Havens (Jack) and Kimberly Bidwell (Gene); and his nephew Michael Smatko (Laurie).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carleton Funeral Home (68 Main St, Hudson Falls, NY 12839). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Moss Street Cemetery.
