He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnice Monroe and Elizabeth Monroe (Alger); his brother Gerald; his sister-in-law Christine; and his nephew Gerald.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Monroe; his daughters, Lisa and Michelle Lestrange (Greg); his grandchildren, Natalie, Jake and Emmy; his great grandchildren, Mya and Luke; his brother-in-law Doug Pritchard; and his niece Dori Smith (Elton).
