She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Kenneth M. Hover and Esther Hover (Collier); her children, Leona Hotaling of Hudson and Leon Hotaling, Jr. of Hudson; her grandchildren, Justin, Alyssa Hotaling, Nicholas (Ashley) and Ryan Loucks (Elyshia MacPhail); her great grandchild Kalia; her siblings, BettyAnn Schilling (I. E.) of Delray Beach, Barbara Jackson (Steve) of Jamaica Plain, MA and Kenneth Hover (Carol) of West Chester, Ohio; her brother-in-law Charles Hotaling (Betty) of Taconic; her husband Leon C. Hotaling of Taconic; and her daughter Eileen Hotaling. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Reformed Church 52 Green Street, Hudson. Contributions in memory of Blanche may be made to The American Cancer Society or First Reformed Church in Hudson.

“I am deeply saddened to learn that Blanche has gone to her next life in heaven. I live in Coxsackie and met Blanche at the First Reformed Church in Hudson. Always greeted by a warm hello and a hug. Enjoyed hearing her telling the congregation each Sunday what was happening in the upcoming weeks. I looked forward to the weekly bible school classes in the basement after church where Blanche was always there with her friend Bob. She also loved to be in the church kitchen cooking delicious meals.”
