She was predeceased by: her mother Ellen Colwell (Davis); her husband Christopher J. Groll, Sr.; her son Peter J. Groll; her siblings-in-law, David W. Hart, William Groll, Frederick Groll, Arthur Jennings, Elizabeth Groll Jennings and Margaret Groll; and her father Earl J. Colwell.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Miller (Daniel) and Christopher J. Groll, Jr. (Kathleen Link); her sister Patricia Colwell Hart; her sister-in-law MaryLou McNamee Groll; her daughter-in-law Barbara Sharpe Groll; her grandchildren, Ryan Christopher Groll and Jaime Lynn Sandagato; and her great grandchild Aubrey Gray (Lynn Hart). She is also survived by cousins and Groll nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Mary's Church, 429 East Allen Street, Hudson, NY or the Columbia-Greene Humane Society on 111 Humane Society Road in Hudson, NY.
