He was predeceased by: his father James Irving Coons I (Engracia Maria Lugris Coons) of Germantown, NY; and his brother Joseph S. Coons. He is survived by: his children, Donna Marie Coons (Philip Hamm) and James Irving Coons II; his grandson Noah Hamm; his sister Jessie Coons Brassel (Doug Brassel); and his close friends, Ralph DelPazzo of Germantown, NY and Joseph Hebert of Cheboygan, MI.
