She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hildebrandt and Evelyn Hildebrandt; and her son Alfred Bartolotta (Joanne). She is survived by: her sister Betty Osuch; her children, Juanita Bryant (Michael), Jarue Hayes (JoAnn) and Terri Frederick (Paul); and her grandchildren, Jason Bryant (Heike), Michael John Bryant (AnneMarie), Luke Bryant (Sara), Jennifer Hayes (Tom Holmes), James Hayes (Jennifer), Courtney Rhriss (Adnan), Jessica Colwell (Matt), Sarah Bartolotta, Alfred Tyler Bartolotta, Matthew Schroeder (Shannon), Marist Frederick (Alli) and Mezmarie Brooks (AJ). She is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bates and Anderson Funeral Home (110 Green St, Hudson, NY 12534). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 5:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Joan's name to Everlasting Hope Animal Rescue, EHAR, 180 Prach Road, Hillsdale, NY 12529.
